A computer or a phone with a current browser, and an internet connection of around 5 Mbit/s. No app, no download, no games controller — and no drone, since every location has its own waiting in a dock. You do not need a licence, any training or any previous flying experience.

Yes, in either of two ways. Cast it from an Android phone using Chrome, or open novadra.eu/#/tv in the television's own browser and type the six-character code the cockpit shows you — which works from any phone or computer, iPhones included. Either way the picture fills the television and your phone becomes the controls. A television is never given the ability to fly, turn or land the drone; it is a screen, and the pilot stays the pilot.

Any television with a web browser can show the picture using the code method. For casting, what matters is that the device decodes H.264 video in hardware — most televisions sold in the last few years have Google TV built in and already do, so most people need to buy nothing. Older Chromecast dongles decode in software and cannot keep up with a 1080p drone camera: we measured one dropping about half the frames on a perfectly healthy network.
